Another Doll Hospital Survivor

I picked up a very dirty Patti Play Pal at a local second hand store the Thursday before Easter. I had watched them go on Ebay for hundreds of dollars and assumed a Patti Play Pal was out of my reach. She was listed at one hundred but it not only was a twenty five percent off sale but I had one of those credit card deals that when you use the card they will give you a thirty dollar credit. Then they messed up and didn't so when I called them out on it somehow I ended up with fifty dollars off the bill. So with tax I think I paid twenty five for her. She was very dirty and I had no idea how hard it would be to get her clean. But I was lucky and she cleaned up very easily. So easily I wouldn't even consider her a restoration project. She was just a bath. I ordered the outfit from Jan's Doll Closet. I wanted a quick project for between anatomy and physiology and starting microbiology and to start a sewing project would have been to time consuming. Plus Jan does better work then I do. The most recent ebay auction I watched for a Patti Play Pal last week had a high bid of $179.50. She looked similar but did not have near as nice of outfit as mine does now.
