Ping!
I took a couple vacation days to stay home and play house. So far this beginning of the harvest season I have put up 26 pints/3 quarts of peaches and 9 quarts of tomatoes. Today as I was peeling tomatoes it threw me back to when I was a child and my mother would can tomatoes. She would sing the Potato/Tomato song.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to grow enough veggies to can, but then...maybe not (in case it's too complicated). I tend to plant just the amount of veggies that I can keep up with cooking-wise.
Just the video. What pictures would you like? I did a photo journal of making applesauce a couple of years ago but did not do that this time with the peaches or tomatoes.
