In Ohio there is something called Program60 where people over aged 60 can audit college classes at no charge. I have been auditing an online class once each year for the last three years. This year I just completed a class offered by Ohio State University about immigration in the United States from the early 1600's to the present. Our text book was A Different Mirror by Ronald Takaki. It is a fascinating look at all the different ethnic groups that have immigrated to the US over the centuries, their experiences and their contributions. It was a very interesting read and not at all like reading a text book. I highly recommend it. Please click on the author's name and book title above for more information about the book.
