Watched an Oscar Winner

After a dinner of corn beef and cabbage topped off with key lime pie,  Mark and I watched the AWARD WINNING documentary INSIDE JOB.  As a result I have a better understanding of our current economic situation.( although I really need to watch it a second time to get all the details)  I would put this movie right up there with FOOD INCTHE WORLD ACCORDING TO MONSANTO and AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH  which are all documentaries I have  found really  good in recent years.

  1. I forgot to mention Michael Moore's documentaries at the end of the post there. I have seen Fahrenheit 911, Sicko, and Capitalism A Love story. I enjoyed them all but the one on capitalism is my favorite of his that I have seen.

  5. Oh yes! I didn't remember that part being included in the trailer. Several of the people interviewed became uncomfortable with the camera as the interviews progressed.

  6. You missed my first "blooper." Good. Seems I can't open my mouth tonight without putting both feet in it.

  8. You indicated in your prior comment that you were upset about both your feet being in your mouth. I was just trying to reassure you not to be upset.

  9. I just about forgot what the blog was about, but I did wonder why no one picked up on my comment.

Here, this is you: "Sig - are you saying there are other ways to spend time after dinner?"
Me: "Now that you bring it up~har har!"

I SWEAR I didn't mean anything naughty, but do you get it now?

  10. I got some very wise advice from a friend once. He told me that when someone said something that could be taken in a bad way or in a good way to always assume it was meant in the good way and then move on. I "got it" when you wrote it but decided to choose that you did not mean anything naughty.

  11. Thanks. I didn't. That's why I said I put both feet in my mouth.
